Hi,
I bought and planted Geranium Rozanne in the back of my garden this year, expecting it to grow up to 2 feet, which is what I had read. At the moment, it is about 4 " tall and blooming...but I can barely see if b/c I planted it behind small day lilies.
What's up? Does it take a couple of seasons to grow to full height?
Questions about Geranium Rozanne
Yes it will get larger in a couple of years. Mine is 5 or 6 years old and wants to take over the world. I used a grow-thru ring this year to try and contain it. It is four feet high. Even without a ring it will get two or more feet tall then sprawl. I should really move it but thought I would try this first.
Yes, I'll second what Pat said. Be patient! I love it and want it to spread wherever it wants.
Mine is about 2 ft tall after several seasons, it sprawls, but it's lovely.
Great! Thanks! I am hoping for sprawl and spread...my garden looks a little sparse this year!
I am using it as a ground cover.
