CLOSED: No room at the inn plants

Ashdown, AR(Zone 8a)

Ok,so I've run out of room for my last 2 digitalis Anne Redetzky without them being too close to other varieties. I want to collect seeds next year and don't want them crossing w/ others.

Also have 1 Chalic Cup vine.

I have an acre and half of flowerbeds,a 20x40 greenhouse plus about 2000 sq.ft in display area so I do not need common plants. Open to some new var.of daylilies, tall breaded irises, new var.of huecheras, hostas, anything on my wishlist or may an offer of other unique plants.

Picture is of actual plants being offered. Hurry! It's going to be too hot for me to ship soon.

What are you looking for in return?

Ashdown, AR(Zone 8a)

I would trade for hostas, ferns, named daylilies or tall breaded irises I don't have or some of the newer huecheras with bright leaves. I have plenty of dark leave ones

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

I'll check on the hokus pokus and elke tomorrow make sure I have to trade

banana mint
iced hazelnut latte mint
sherbert cocktail phlox
postmans pride cutting
xenox cuttings

i'd be interested in all 3 of them. ;0)

Ashdown, AR(Zone 8a)

OK,let me know for sure.....and if you want to check my "Have" list and plant journels to see if there's anything else you'd like to trade for....in for a dime,in for a dollar,I always say.

I'm going to close this thread because any of a number of the plants you offered are acceptable....but diffenantly for sure the following:
Hokus Pokus
Elke
Sherbert Cocktail phlox

I checked, must have lost hokus pokus,

have elke
double jewel geranium and
espresso

no hokus pokus any more;0(

I do have the sherbert cocktail in 2 places out there. it's PURDY. some's just now blooming

it's shorter cause it's the first year growing it but i'm sure it will be tall as me in no time.

geraniums don't do well for me, so elke is one plant and i'm just going to clear it out. and not get any more of them. I'm runningout of room really fast ;0)

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

meant to ask what color flower is the seedling foxglove flower if you know.

they do well for me. always want to incorporate more of them.

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

LOL I forgot to go look at your have list.

be right back

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

do you have any chocolate foxgloves left or the green flowering one.

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

And to think I was goin g to try to quit bringing in so many plants LOL

Ashdown, AR(Zone 8a)

http://www.plant-world-seeds.com/store/view_seed_item/412

it's white w/ "shredded"....I believe it's also known as "Saltwater Summer". The seeds came from Plant World Seeds.

I have the green foxglove in one gallon but I can reduce the root ball down for shipping. Let me check on the chocolate...I'm pretty sure there's some in 5.5 inch pots in the greenhouse.

I finally got the hang of growing geraniums so now I've lost my mind for them...LOL I sowed seeds for Hokus Pokus back in early March but so far no germination.

Aw now,don't be a quiter....LOL

I have a bunch more stuff from my 2009 WS that hasn't made it onto my plant inventory journel yet. Let me see what else I can come up with. Off the top of my head I have some very nice 4" silene Ray's Gold ,some seed grown thalictrum Black Stockings in 4"deep perennial pots, erinus alpinus(fairy fox gloves)....Hmmm?...I'll do a quick inventory as soon as it's light out.

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

you'r the best seed sower I know!! you have the talent for sure. that ray's gold silene sounds interesting.

Ashdown, AR(Zone 8a)

Here's the gold silene(top of the picture). I aslo found digitalis trojana and I have a couple trays of seed grown thalictrum Black Stockings....and I have a small gold leaf buddleia "Evil Ways" rooted last year and a well rooted piece of salvia "Hot Lips".

I also have journals for hosta/ferns,irises,daylilies and sempervivums.I have a bunch of other plants grown fron seeds receieved in trade but non-blooming so I don't offer them until they bloom and I know 100% they're want they were labeled as.I've grow LOTS of trade seeds that weren't what they were labeled or out right weeds.

Economy forced me into doing 99% of my plant material from seed.

I probably ought to quit while i'm ahead , i'm having troubles taking care of my flower gardens now with all the lack of rain, anything I bring in will have to be babied and I'm not up to doin g much of that LOL
I would be interested in the silene, I have the evil ways. but i'd jump on that if I didn't LOL

silene
the 3 foxgloves if you have all of them,
chocolate
green one
and the one in the first picture.

name your price LOL i'm gone for the entire day today, will check back when I get back in town.
