What is the best window for the Hoyas to grow in...?Inside or out? I have a North window which I am sure I will have to tilt the blind in the late afternoon because it is direct sunlight but some say that is good...What Hoyas do the best in North windows? Thanks for the help....
Windows
How much time do you have? lol
I have hoyas in windows facing in all four directions. It depends on the plant; generally hoyas like very bright light, but not direct sun. That said, I live in Canada, and over the winter the sun isn't as strong, so I can push the envelope with a lot of them.
Some hoyas thrive in strong sun in their natural habitat, but if you're acquiring one of those, you'll know that about it already as they tend to be fairly rare hoyas and you'll have investigated all that before finding out how to purchase it.
I provided you with links in another thread to some hoyas. The website they're on is an excellent source of all of the information you seek. You can also check the stickies at the top of the hoyas forum page for more websites to get information from.
Happy hoya hunting!
