I can't recall who it was that got disappointed when we bought a pkt. of painted daisey seeds that didn't look anything like the picture on the seed pkt. Well, those plants are in the yard waste bag as of this morning. I hated them, but in my back flowerbed, are the colors that are shown on the seed pkt. I thought I kept all my seed pkts. but can't find one ziploc bag that I put them in. Probably piled under all my paper clutter here beside of my computer desk! I'm digging as I write this through the paper clutter. Yeh, I found the missing ziploc bag with empty seed pkts. Ferry Morse is the seed co. that has the pretty colors. I found the seed pkt. for that Heralds of Spring mix by Burpee. Now I need to look up all the flowers that were in that mixture. There's one I didn't recognize or know the name of so I'm curious. Whatever it was, it looked similar to Love-in-a-mist flowers but looked more like a weed. I couldn't stand it any longer so it got pulled up this morning too. Okay, now that mystery is solved..on to the next one!

Heya, Pippi! I clicked to see your daisies, but I got confused. Sounds like maybe there was one seed mix you really liked and another seed packet where the bloom color didn't turn out like you expected? But I'm not sure which was which. Guess you figured it out, though, or at least you cleared out the plants you didn't like!
I have the hardest time tossing plants, so I think I could learn something from your enthusiasm for yanking those that don't measure up! :-)
