I've researched an Audubon Guides book and still can't identify this beautiful bird. The wing's edge and tail feathers are a distinct white. There is also a yellowy-white horizontal bar on the back of it's head. Any help in identifying it would be greatly appreciated!

Possible escaped Canary but not sure.
I'll bump this up.

Like Burd mentioned it is an escaped canary. Good pic.

I'll have to believe it was an escaped canary; can't identify it any other way. It was here for a week but haven't seen it in the last two days.
Thanks to all for your input.

Thanks obbirds. I was taking pictures of it out my open back window from about 20'. It then graciously flew to the birdbath about 6' away and posed for quite awhile before returning to feeding.
