I am looking for 2, and do they grow from cuttings? I have some daylilies or maybe some iris I could trade or would pay postage.
Something that is large, full sun, and cherry red.

I have never seen a 'cherry red' Clematis. Niobe is a bluish-red and there are a couple of others that are a purplish-red, but I haven't ever seen one as you describe it.
I seen some pics of a clem called 'Rebecka' and it seems pretty red, of course in person, it may not be as much as the photos?

hmm seems more of a magenta color :(
well it still may be as close as I am going to find ... I will have to keep digging !
