i just can't believe how quickly this grew...like 3 weeks...!! we just put it together with leftovers! sometimes that's just the best....we got some interesting containers our first time here in florida...so use to the cold...now this is going to be fun!!
loved this little area...!! we loaded the truck for the move with these little pavers and made a little garden out of garbage!! the little container fit perfect there since who is going sit other than a pot in front of my house!1

thanks kay....i didn't think "pots" where the thing to do in florida because of the water restrictions...but i'm finding my pots hold the water better than the actual gardens!
They will do even BETTER if you mix in some SoilMoist crystals with your soil.

If you haven't realized it yet - Florida is home base for slugs - they merely take vacations to other states! They prefer to eat Florida plants!!!
got it!! and "beer"...LOL...all ya do is put a container with cheap beer on the bottom of the pot and the slugs or snails eat is and get drunk and die!!! LOL!!
we had slugs in nj....here's a picture of the nj flower and garden expo i designed and was the director of.....slugs...holly slug and a half!! (this is just a very tiny part of the grounds i designed and planted!)

thanks kay...it took way over a year to plan and design the show. i grew most of all the plants myself up north....in a greenhouse...most of the canna were bred by alice over in the canna forum....the grounds had over 50k plants!! lots of planting! .....o and NEVER EVER again! LOL
