Here are some blooms from Ohio, not many because currently our weather has only been in the upper 70 and lows in the 50, but they say warm weather is on it's way.

Blooming in Ohio
Nice Patrick. Stuffed Jalapeno and Rainbow Christie, with it's famous large eye, are my favorites in the bunch.
Grand Hyatt certainly is! What a beauty...
Didn't you say you were moving to the South Patrick? I'm surprised that cool weather is still an issue for you.
We haven't moved yet, it's going to be a few years. Still in Ohio.
Patrick
Ditto, Dee. Love Grand Hyatt. All are stunning, Patrick. Thanks for sharing with us. Wish I could trade some of this hot weather for some of your cooler weather.
Hugs to All,
Judy
Patrick, these are gorgeous!!!
Nice Patrick. Is your "Tahitian Taui" a good growing plant? Am just curious as mine has grown very very little in two years. Not sure if it's the plant itself or a poor graft.
These are all beautiful, Patrick. Thanks for sharing with us.
Hugs to All,
Judy
Wow, that un-named one is insane. I love the intense purples!
Hi John,
Haven't had Tahitian Taui long enough to tell, just received this plant this year from Randy and Annelle.
Thanks Judy, we have had many more I just haven't taken pics of them like I should, we took Lexie to the water park today, she should have been a fish because she just loves the water.
There are 2 more blooms of the dupont un named variety that should bloom tommorrow, I'll make sure I take pictures of them.
Patrick
Patrick,
How did you get your hands on an un-named Dupont seedling? It's awfully pretty!
How we got our hands on a dupont seedling.
My wife and I went to a nursery here in Ohio, Baker's Acres and my wife noticed the plant stuffed away in the corner, no blooms but a nice bush. It had a tag in it with a number which I thought was a dupont cross, so I contacted the AHS president in Louisana and he contacted Bobby Dupont and they came to the conclusion that some time last year Robbie Dupont came up to Ohio for some kind of convention and brought plants with him and what ever was left over Chris Baker from Baker's Acres Greenhouses bought the remainder. Thats the story that I received from the AHS president in LA. I took a couple more pictures of new blooms today and will post later and I have to say this bloom is very beautiful and I hope they name it soon so I can update my hibby records and add it to plant files.
Thanks, Patrick

The world of Hibiscus is small isn't it? Great story, and Donna must have good eagle eyes, Good Job!
OH!! I really want that un-named dupont really bad. When you hear any information about it, could you let me know? Great find!!
Patrick,
That is indeed a DuPont hybrid but I thought all of our DuPonts were named, although I couldn't tell you what it is. Robbie comes up to Columbus in July every year for the OFA Short Course and Trade Show. He sends us plants and we grow them on for their booth. Sometimes he sells the booth and other times he doesn't and we take it back. This year he did not send any hibiscus however. We also could not get any finished Cajun hibiscus from Florida because of all the severe freezes that they had. We'll try again next year. Cajuns sell very well and we rarely have any left. Your wife has a good eye and is very lucky.
Thanks,
Chris Baker
That one is beautiful, love the pink. Did you buy it or just take a photo? We are planning on making a trip back up in a couple of weeks, Donna is looking for some more coleus that you didn't have out on our last trip.
