Tuberous Begonia "Picotee Lace Apricot"

Ft Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10a)

Begonias are very new to me, even though I live in South Florida. Thought I'd trying growing a tuberous one and see how it goes. This is the first bloom on "Picotee Lace Apricot" on Friday.

Good Growing Jon. Most folks in FL say they can't (or won't) grow tuberous begonias but it looks like you've proved them wrong.

LOL. Maybe it was better just growing them without knowing they won't grow here. I figured the most important things would be to keep them out of direct sun and to not let the foliage get wet/stay wet. Grew this one inside the pool screening under the roof overhang. Therefore, it only gets a couple hours of early morning filtered sun and the foliage doesn't get wet.
