Phoenix eggs for Cochen eggs.

Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

Hello,

I would like to trade some fertile Phoenix eggs for some fertile Standard Cochen eggs. I am not in any hurry and would prefer to have Black and Blues Cochens but any color will do. My Phoenix come in all colors and I have been breeding them for about 12 years. All my birds are setting on peafowl egg at this time so it would need to be in early Summer sometime. Thanks.

kenboy, my ladies are sitting on eggs also. i have black bantam cochins, but the daddy is a silver laced cochin/frizzle mix. he looks like a mini standard. when they start laying again i will send you eggs for postage if you like

Thanks jordankittyjo, but I really need the standard breed. I need more brood hens to set my peafowl egg and the bantams are too small for such big eggs. Here is a Pied peachick I hatched a few weeks ago.

I'm sure he'll grow up to be very handsome.

ken, my bantam cochins are sitting on peafowl eggs. one of them is sitting on 4 pea eggs, and 8 of her own.

I know the bantams are good little sitters but if I am going to start with an egg and wait until next year to use them for setting, I may as well go for the larger size. Peafowl eggs is all I will be setting and the Java eggs are very large. Thanks.
