2 questions.
1: What could cause my varigated brug to have yellow leaves each and every day? It is in morning sun, a pot and gets bright afternoon light. It seems to need water everyday and since its in the 90' here I supply it. The leaves are being replaced but I am begining to worry.
2: what can I use for bugs, they ate the first crop of flowers and there are some on the leaves as well. I think it is a variety of types.
Any help would be useful

Advice for a Novice Grower
we.. not enough food and water will cause yellowing... also if you just put it out it will start to drop all of the old inside leaves... when there are new ones getting set up... the old ones were used to a different lighting situation.. and growth level... and will be replaced by leaves formed in the new location... used to the current light humidity ...also if your getting eatten up with bugs. that will cause the leaves to be abandoned by t he plant... to shed it's self of the bugs.. spraying with anything will help... Seven... malathion.. bug b gone... or any of the high octane killers... I make a cocktail of a few of them together .. my theory is they will build up an immunity... but that's only if there's some survivors.. I spray in the evenings to minimize the effect on beneficials.. and to prevent leaf burn from the sun.. I had to do a spraying a few nights ago myself... the bugs were really blossoming out... in the warm weather ...
Well it gets a dose of miracle grow 2 times a week so I dont think its lack of fertilizer. I water daily also. I am stumped about why the leaves yellow daily. It was out most of the year and has been out since March. I really dont know much about these plants so this one is my learning experience and science project. I might try a systemic to avoid breathing the spray but we will see.
Thanks for the ideas, I need some!

Spidermites will cause the leaves to turn yellow. Look at the underside of the leaves. Most of the spidermites my Brugs get are reddish so the underside appears to be covered with a rusty red color. You can also place a white sheet of paper under some leaves and tap the upper leaf surface. If there are spidermites present, you'll get some of them on the paper.
Caterpillars and grasshoppers are really busy right now. Using a systemic now will help in a few weeks, but until it kicks in, you can use neem oil, or Bayer's 3-in-1 Insect Diease and Mite control. I can't remember the name of it, but Ortho sells a premixed contact insect spray that works against grasshoppers and can be used on fruit trees and vegetables as well. I pick the caterpillars off by hand and step on them. So far I have picked of some huge tomato horn worms off some of my Brugs.
Great advice you are getting !!! I will add maybe some epsom salt too! Brugs love magnesium.... I usually get a couple of yellow leaves and just take them off... But if your brug has alot try some epsom salt mixed with water...:) I dont know the ratio I just pour Lol Maybe the pros from above can give you the ratio... Good luck!
Just wondering what size pot for what size plant? Does it need to be stepped up to a larger size pot?
there are so many possibilities... situations that might have been short lived.. or not noticed.. factors not readily connected to the result.. a picture will seldomly reveal the cause.. but they can help in recomending ...if it's making good new leaves... that's success in growing..
I repotted this spring so I don't think that is it. The soil is pretty good also. The plant was doing great this spring and I am not sure if its the heat or the slugs, cucumber beetles and what ever else is eating it! I will keep spraying and hoping. But since its the flowers that look so awful (eaten to shreds) its not a nice looking plant otherwise, so I am wondering if its worth the effort.
