2 clones from my anthurium seedlings

I posted a long while ago about my anthuriums that I grew from seed. The seeds were collected from a very large birdsnest anthurium but it cross pollinated with something else (most probably A. gracilis).

Out of about 15 or so plants I grew out from the seeds, there are 2 clone types split almost down the middle. Its weird, LOL. One has very narrow lighter green leaves with a kind of flat finish on long stems. The other has darker green more paddle shaped leaves with an iridescent sheen in the light also on long stems. It is results like you see that are one reason why I like to hybridize. Surprises are always possible, and I have a few that have shown up in my deliberate crosses as well. I wrote an article here that describes one genetic mechanism that can lead to such surprises:
