CLOSED: Free New Orleans Crinum

New Orleans, LA(Zone 9a)

My crinum has definitely overgrown its space & needs to be thinned. I think it's an Ellen Bosanquet. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/77859/.

If anyone in the New Orleans area wants some, please drop me a d-mail to arrange the time. I really don't want to get involved with mailing. I've never mailed a plant & am afraid it would die in the summer heat.

jomo.........if you were going to mail a plant then a bulb would be almost indestructible. even if you dug it now and mailed it in sept. the bulb should be fine. crinum people are prob. mortified at me saying that but bulbs just work that way.

Thanks for the info. Do you want some of these? They have simply outgrown the space I have allotted to them.

lol. i do and i don't. i am not into trading much these days. i just wanted you to be able to find homes for your crinum. they really are easy to mail. depending on the size.......you ought to be able to get several in even the smallest flat rate box. they do need to be mailed in the flat rate prob. due to their weight. but i'd sure play around with that to get the cheapest rate to ship.

If you decide to mail I am interested.
