I wanted to show the variegation of the leaves on this ginger. It is green and yellow color. Doesn't like sun at all. I keep mine in a pot inside the shaded hothouse. It did fine being overwintered in the hothouse..At this website http://www.asiaticanursery.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=plants.p... that sucker cost $22 for a 3.5 in pot..got mine in a 6 inch pot for $9.95 last year...
Maybe those prices are why Asiatica is going out of business.
