I used to live in FL but now live in ARkansas.
I've found that the Mockingbird here has SUCH a limited repertoire unlike the varied songs the one we had in FL sang! It seems that there is such a wide variety of other birds down there for the bird to learn such a complex song.
Is there a willing person in FL that would record several sessions of their local Mockingbird's songs to send me a recording of it please? I'd be happy to pay for it! We have a CD player in our guest bedroom that I'd put into the window to play constantly in hopes to teach this Mockingbird some new songs!
OR does someone know of where I could buy a good recording of Mockingbird songs?
CLOSED: FL Mockingbird Recording?
No way you could pick up a decent recording without other sounds in it. You would have to be right next to the bird. Best bet it to look online for bird sounds.
