I thought I'd post a fun pic. Just hatched today. Biffy is the ultimate broody.. I think she COULD hatch a golf ball! These are 3 of the group of Catsy's Serama babiez fostered by Biffy.
They are tiny... and darling!
Catsy's New Babiez
Great shots ZZ! How's Henrietta doing? And the little woolly one? ;-)
LOL DR.... I finally figured out who you were,,,,
Lovely pictures!!! Thanks for sharing.
They are Silkie Serama splits...their Papa is Cole the Silkie Serama; their Mammas are the Serama sisters Laura and Emily; their surrogate broody is Biffy the incomparable blue Silkie/Nankin cross.
And their sponsor is ZZ the Magnificent!
Oh! I am so happy! Let the Silkie Seramas begin!

Henrietta snuck into a box that went to Catsy's house. She has be AWOL since! My dear Wooly buggar is on my computer desk.. he keeps me company 24/7.. Things are pretty mellow here these days.. amazing what a full night's sleep will do for a person's attitude!
Isn't Cherry a crack up? She is a major chatter box.. She does this lil shake to dismount Harlequin, the Serama Roo who thinks he is jumping her.. LOL Too funny! She has major personality.
I hope all is well for you to Doc & everyone!!!
Uh hum.... Queen Biffy is a Nankin/Silkie cross Catsy, what are you thinking? Got silkie on the brain.. LOL
Oooooops! I was thinking of Charlotte!
Cherry is the most talkative pullet I've ever met. She just chatters constantly and you feel you are expected to respond. Like living with a two year old. But she lays beautiful eggs.
Oh boy you two....get your breeds organized!!! Biffy has such a lovely colour to her. I have 2 banties from the TSC chick days frenzy that have turned out to be a lovely dove gray colour and I have one each of a hen and roo. I am quite excited about them. I hope they continue to do well. They are such a pretty shade.
Glad to hear you have a smile on your face ZZ. It makes the world a better place!
Thank you Doc and Catsy!
