Crocus

I have a row of crocuses and they have died off totally...Well up pops this white stem with a little brown thing on top of it...Seems they all have this...Never saw this before...Can anyone tell me what this is??????

Are they new? Have they bloomed? Some of my crocuses get something like bud after blooming. I'm not sure but think it's a seeds pod. if I'm right it means your bulbs are not dead just going dormant till the next spring. You'll probably see them multiplied by then.

Yes they had bloomed and died off and then this stem of white came up...Never saw that before

I noticed it last year and the same happened this season. So nothing to worry about, the only change you'll probably notice is their increased number.

Yes, that's the seed pod. I pulled out all my dead brown leaves the other day but made sure to leave those pods!

Mine also did this.....I had never noticed it before this year though.
