I have several of these low growing perennial geraniums that bloom yellow. I saw some in a nursery that were called Jolly Bee but they are blooming blue - I have yellow. They must be thinned out -
Trade or postage.

this is a link to the Jolly Bee that I saw in the store. Mine come back like crazy every year. I didn't plant them, they came with the house when we purchased it 4 years ago. They are not getting enough sunlight where they are but I have seen the blooms and will go take a picture if they are blooming. I'll see if I can find the name but HARDY - yes they are.
And they bloom yellow?

I took picture and emailed them to Geraniaceae Nursery. This is what she says the yellow flowering plant is. Mine get little morning sun and she said they need more sun than they are getting. Let me know if anyone is still interested for postage.
We call that buttercup and consider it an invasive weed! Definitely not cranesbill geranium.
Ok - now we know what it is. I didn't know but the leaf is exactly the same as the geranium Jolly Bee. Amazing. So Misty doesn't get that in her box..........LOL
If anyone wants them they are dug and ready to go
I was very curious to know about a geranium that bloomed yellow :-)
Me too!
I was stumped! I searched and searched and the closest I could find where whites that faded to other colors. :) I'm glad you figured out your plant! We all make mistakes.
Do these do well in dry sun? I could still use a few filler plants for my neighbor (and he loves the yarrow he has. LOL).
I think they love sun. Will they get any shade? I can send you some. Let me know.
If you ahve anymore of the buttercup I would love some Kathy. I know they are a weed in most places but they sure do bring back memories of lving in PA when I was a little girl .
I have some - will get back to you later this p.m. I have hair and dental appt so got to go now.........k
haha. One of my most hated weeds. They come up everywhere and aren't that easy to pull sometimes. I would use a little caution on this one.
OMG! This took over one of my expensive flower gardens and completly killed some of my prized plants. The place I got mine from said it was a hardy geranium: semi-evergreen. Do not plant it where you want uniform order in your garden! It should be on the invasive list-LOL. It did its damage in only one season here. This year I just spent 6 hours digging it all up! Now I'm watching for any babies to get rid of them!
Garden Hugs,
Sandy
