Why I Can't Keep Wild Turkeys

While reading DG posts I happened to look out my office window. There were these deer in the yard--

Then they noticed the Turk that was next to the pump...And investigated...

Got him pointed down the driveway...

I guess the deer don't know the turkeys don't eat roses and lilacs! And where were my dogs?...Who are supposed to keep the darn deer out of the yard...

What an adorable scene to watch and enjoy! If your dogs are like mine, they're so used to seeing the deer that they wouldn't do anything.

I was thrilled to watch it and even more thrilled that my camera was at hand. Usually I see things while working around the yard and saying "Where's the #@%$# cam when I need it!"
