Plant ID help needed
west tx verbena, I need to go and look up the exact name. It's funny because I just bought two of these plants recently but now cannot remember the exact name.

Verbena rigida but its not native to TX. The second one looks like its in the mint family but I do not know what it is.

That second flower is really interesting.
looks like a shrimp plant?
Could be. Is there a better pic of the whole plant including leaves?

I too had thought shrimp plant and looking at stephanietx's picture I think that is the plant. I wonder how it ended up in that group of cuttings and I don't recall anyone giving me a cutting of a shrimp plant. Thanks for your help. Kay
Kay, it may have tagged along with another plant. I got a mealy blue sage and now a West Texas Mist Flower that way!
It's easy to mislabel or have one drop off and then not know what you are getting or even giving to someone. I have ended up with suprise plants many times. But I think that is part of the fun in sharing plants.
