Check this out. A friend (DG member Mrscolla who lives in CA) went to visit another's garden in northern California. She took pictures and made a Shutterfly photo book for her hostess as a thank you gift. This is one of the main reasons I'm on Facebook - to look at the pictures.

Check out the Abutilon. I've never wanted one before until I saw this one . . . it's Victor Reiter.
California Garrdens in May
WOW...!!!! that was really, really beautiful !!!
Hi Sue and welcome to the Pacific Northwest forum. We hope you'll stick around and chat.
Kathy
Loved that album!!!
Welcome aboard, Sue. Ditto to what Kathy said. ^_^
Love it. All the faces and great plants.
Ruth and Dean had one of those made for me on the building of the greenshed. It's great.
Thanks everybody....been lurking a very long time....hard to join in when you don't have the plants or the land to show off. I live on a floating home in the lower Columbia River. We do all containers......
but maybe one day who knows........????????
But you're always welcome to ask questions or to comment on other people's photos!!
Yes, welcome Sue. And we do have threads on containers, too. Good conversation is also appreciated.
Welcome Sue! I do containers. When my flowers get bigger and bloom will post. Love to see some of yours. Never have to get on your knees to work on the containers. Yes!
Hi Sue----I am a Sue also. Weren't those head containers wonderful? Not to mention all the gorgeous flowers. A nice place to go on this rainy Sat. morning. (in May yet)
Hey, Sue, just jump right in. The PNW even lets out-of-towners like me in with a warm welcome. I don't post pics either, but certainly enjoy the pics and camaraderie here.
Super nice book. Even nicer garden!
What is the plant on the far left on page 22? I have this and have wondered what it was.
Gwen - it looks like variegated sage, assuming you're referring to the green/yellow plant.
Oh, maybe. My plant is not varigated sage. If it ever stops raining, I'll post photos.
I do believe we are on the insides of a very large cloud.
When i got home tonight, it was gently raining sideways, but there was no wind.
No I did not have any Margaritas...
LOL
Boy, margaritas are REALLY REALLY tempting today.
Forget those summer drinks - I'm thinking about hot buttered rum.
Going to a bbq tonight - should be fun. What a bummer the weather is so lousy. They live on the beach. It could have been a good time...
