Share the Joy as the baby seedlings/cuttings enter the Outside World. Direct sowing and progress on the yearlings is all good stuff too! You know what to do ^_^ We came from here http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1091743/#new

Seeding/Cuttings: Share the Joy (Twicely)
look at all those babies!!!
oh I read the down side to the primula is.. they are short lived
Bummer but great info onewish! I SO did not know that. My oldest seedling is only in year 4. I seeded some new babies this year so maybe ever thrice year I'll grow some more. My bellis perennis poop out every 3-4 years so methinks I'll put the primula on the same seeding schedule.
hmpff. Perhaps it is persnickity. I am very fond of putting the 'persnickety' notation in my journal. With great sorrow I have to report that NONE of my Eryngium alpinum seedlings have returned from their first winter :O They were 3 feet tall and very healthy in the fall. That is my sad news for today. HOWEVER lots of violas have reseeded so I'm VERY interested to see who is who. I put a cluster of different baby seedlings in a shady spot last year.

I love violas... always good for a smile
puff puff puff (warming up for energy burst) puff puff puff. F*r*o*s*t tonight. All the babies must be herded/muscled into shelter. puff puff puff.
oh no.. get those babies to safety
Some of the babies have come into my office for the night. This is an annual tradition where we stay up all night and sing and dance and make funny faces at Jack out the doors. Notice the chic decor of bales of potting mix. This is the NEW thing in my office decor and very sensical cuz I CAN'T lift bales to the upper deck to do the containers but I CAN push them down the stairs from my office ^_^
Lovely D-Nut!!!
I have some cukes flowering in the house and no bees to pollinate them!!! :0
Some cukes are self pollinating like toms pixie. Just gently flick the flowers with your finger and they might do their own hankypanky. I do that with the toms when the honeysuckle is flowering cuz the bees ignore the greenhouse then.
ROTFL... hanky panky!!!.... how great
oh would potting soil in the house like that push Randy right over the edge... that day a few years back when I pulled 16 flats in because of frost.. he wanted to kill me.. and I put that brown paper they wrap furniture in down on the floor... I didn't see the issue
your babies look great though.. glad they are all safe!!
onewish hankypanky is everywhere right now! The goodguy black beetles in the garden are making me blush with all the hankypanky that's happening under the leaves. Tis nature. Hankypanky or perish.

Tres fabby idea for space saving! HA I am SO doin that next year. Thanks onewish.
If I feel it needs it... I put masking tape around it to hold it closed... just paper & glue
Thanks D-nut, guess I'll go flick the flowers. LOL
D-Nut I wanted to show you these trays I picked up from novosel... because I know you are a cow pot lover as well... downside to them.. they are so tightly packed in there I was getting some mold at the tops... but once I opened them up they were fine... soooo much easier to move them around with these
They DO look like they work like a charm onewish. Do they have drainge holes in the bottom? I have been holding out for 2' cowpots. I have VERY EXCITING news. Was reorganizing babies in the greenhouse (ya still too cold to plant out sigh) trying to get some better light in the cram and LOOKIE LOOKIE LOOKIE ^_^
edit: talk about mold (snort). They were in a bagged tray with some other things that take a gazillion years to germinate.
