I'd love some of the blue penstemon and the 'Empire Purple' salvia. Check out my list if you have a moment and let me know if we can do a trade.

Thanks!

Kim
Do you have anymore Hostas? I am trying to get some for my shade garden area. Are you trading or SASE?

Marti

I was thinking it might be nice to try penstamon true blue and impatients balfourii. How do you think they would transplant since our temps are already in the 90's?

(Zone 7a)

The Hosta can be SASE.

As far as transplanting it's hard for me to say... I rarely kill anything (especially a plant that I really want) I'm one of those people that rescue pitiful dying and just about dead looking plants from Nurseries and now have gorgeous flawless plants. Although I hear all different stories about how the palnt "Just Dies" Sorry I can't be of more help. So I suppose it will be up to how it is cared for.

Lake Charles, LA

Are those for postage or trade?

Somerset, KY(Zone 6b)

Let me know how much postage you will need and I'll send you a money order.

(Zone 7a)

Plants from seed for Trade.
Hosta can be trraded or Postage

Lake Charles, LA

It's not so much the temperature here, but the humidity makes it brutal here, so I'll have to put them in a protected area and watch them carefully.
I rescued plants that Lowe's was going to throw away. I was able to get them for 25 cents. One was a closet plant, there were 3 orchids, an african violet, and 4 tuberous begonias. They all look great now. I can't believe I didn't buy the whole buggy full. You live and learn as you go.

(Zone 7a)

MaryAnn added your plants to my tradetracker so I wont forget to put those in. I'm getting rid of plants to bring more in..has to be a support group for this kind of addiction!!

(Zone 7a)

Marti...The Postage depends on how much you want to spend. What you send I will make sure it doesn't go over that amount in weight.

(Zone 7a)

Paypal would be better my bank is 20 miles from me.

Somerset, KY(Zone 6b)

I don't have paypal. Don't know how to use it. See dmail.

Belton, TX

If there is a support group, I do not want to hear about it!...I am quite happy being addictive!

Jackson, SC(Zone 8a)

(Zone 7a)

Lot's of request and dmails...

I will contact those that can send Postage for Hosta as I am preparing them to be moved out. These Hosta have not been grown in the ground..I propagated them..all will have more then ample roots to become very large plants with the right care.

If anyone has sent a dmail or request for plants and I have not responded. Please please understand that a few peoples HAVE list were painful for me and I just had to move on..Used as Inventory (Not Available). I am Not just ignoring any dmails. If I accept a trade You will definitely know..I will look at all mail...Thanks Everybody and Happy Gardening!

Kim, if you still have the job's tears, I'd love to have them! I started some seeds from 2005 and they are not sprouting. LOL I'd also love Cardinal Flower (Lobelia cardinalis). Didn't I send you that years ago?

(Zone 7a)

I don't remember but I think I got some seeds of yours from 2005! LOL LOL.
I just have one plant of the job's tear..
send me a dmail

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

LOL You nut! When the stupid things wouldn't come up, I went reading. I saw someone post that theirs took 78 days to sprout?!?! We actually filed a bit off the side and soaked them too...

I'll have to go look at old mail. I am/was thinking it was you that wanted Lobelia so I sent it to you and Jan sent something to me. I can't remember if Jan got something?? Who's on first?

(Zone 7a)

My seeds were from 2004. I just wanted to see if 6 year old seeds work. They were from JL Hudson. I planted 3 seeds and got 3 plants. This one is easy for me. I use the same method every time. Drop them in a glass of water..Forget about them for a few days then throw them in a ziplock bag with vermiculite..3-5 days to germinate. Every time!

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Can you talk to the 80 I stuck in seed mix out in the greenhouse? LOL

Lawrenceville, GA(Zone 7b)

do you have any hostas left, just wondering??

(Zone 7a)

Yes

(Zone 7a)

Okkkkkk..I'm trying to keep up..LOL! If you haven't heard from me and contacted me. You can bump that Dmail.
I will close this thread and reopen it in a few weeks and just add some more plants. I have a lot I need to try to move out. Thanks everyone.

(Zone 7a)

I Have reopened this thread today...removed what is gone and added new Plants. If we are already in a trade I am aware and if I haven't mailed yet and are interested in any of these please let me know and I can fit it in the box. Thanks and Happy Gardening!
