I put together a new planter with a Shishigashira maple and Chamaecyparis obtusa Chirimen, both of which I hope to make into bonsai in time. I put it on the front deck and took a picture, not realizing at the time that the stone lantern from the rock garden was reflected in the window. I thought the effect was kind of neat.
