How long have you had it? Is it a recent purchase or have you had it over a year?

Is the soil wet, moist, or dry to the touch? Do you let the soil dry some before watering again?

Have you moved it recently to another room or another location in the same room? Sometimes humidity changes or light changes can affect it.

It is too hard to tell by a picture or brief description.

I have had it 2 months. . I bought a torch at the same time and place. Both were repotted. Both are on my back porch with a Lucerna that I have had for a while. Torch and Lucerna are growing and looking fine. All 3 of them are watered at the same time....probably too often because there are 2 of us who water the porch. I will have to make tags saying Do Not Water for several plants or they will drown.

Sounds like you found the problem. If the soil is soggy you can pull the plant out and put it on some newspapers to wick away a lot of the water or knock all the soil off and repot.

Thanks, I will give that a try.

Talking about watering, I have a question for Butch. Do you water with your mini sprinklers daily in the summer? or is that too much?

Tru, it all depends - if it is hot and dry I might but typically I set it up to follow watering restrictions which is 3 days a week and I set the timer for 45 minutes which is usually plenty of time. I can always follow up with hand watering for ones that appear too dry.

Flicker, I have the same problem with only that one begonia, My Special Angel. The rest of my canes grow like weeds and all get treated the same. I've had MSA for over two years at least and all it does is just barely stay alive. If you have success with yours I would appreciate knowing how you did it.

MSA likes it warm and sunny for the most part but will also bloom indoors under lights (not as well) and to dry some before the next watering.

Thanks. I will try keeping it drier. It's so hard to tell with some things if I'm overwatering or underwatering.
