Wow! Gorgeous just isn't the word for him! I see he has one white feather in his tail (lower left), I'm guessing that's not common.

One white feather like that usually means he is split to white. Peafowl eggs are not easy to hatch but sometimes you get lucky. he largest peafowl breeder in the world, Brad Legg in MO hatches about 3,000 chicks a year and they start every egg under chickens for a week.
