Well, I finally found Monarch caterpillars on my Milkweed. 12 of them in their first and second instar! This was at about 6AM today. At about 4PM after drizzling all day, I could only find 2. It is STILL raining and I am worried that they will be gone too!
Questions:
1. Do they hide well when the rain comes? Is that why I can't find them? I looked for at least 20 minutes.
2. Should I bring the ones I found inside?
I am so worried about my babies. I was so excited this morning and now they're almost all gone!
Any words of advice or condolence would be appreciated.
