Off Topic Question (Ruellia)

I don't know who else to ask and all of you are so knowledgeable in the ways of gardens. I love Ruellia (Chi Chi) and have planted the seeds about two weeks ago but so far, nothing. Is this normal for germination or have I buried them rather than plant them?

Don't know about the seeds, mine seem to reseed very easily. If you would like to pay postage, I can send you some. Not sure it is Chichi, but can send a photo if you like. I have the tall purple and the dwarf pink one.

Thanks GAgirl, I got tired of waiting (still waiting) for the seeds to germinate so I bought both the tall purple and pink.

Did you know that it comes in red, white, pink, blue (various shades) and purple? I have red, white, pink, purple and blue - the purple is a weed in my yard, but the other colors are very well-behaved, not as sprawling and pretty.
