I got a great deal on 4 serama hens and one roo.2 of my hens are the most beautiful chocolate brown! I was told that the chocolate are rare what do you folks think? I also picked out 4 lil tiny babies from the same breeder 2 of those are tiny tiny tiny .I was also told almost all of these will carry the silkie gene.
I do believe that chocolates are indeed rare and in great demand....or at least we have had a request for them.
these pics are not the best i need to take them out in the sunshine for better pictures.The roo was plucked from getting into the layer hens pen at the breeders home but hes already growing new pin feathers.The one hen is such a dark chocolate that sometimes she looks black in the pics.

there are 2 chocolate hens one white with some black and another color that is almost chocolate and is very striking.

these are the chicks.The black and white one is much older than the other 3.The one with the brown color on the wings looks like it will have great conformation.I will be excited to see what color they end up.
