To recap:
Continuing the story of Kitty & Cocoa, 2 strays (mother and son respectively) I adopted. Well, actually, I adopted Kitty & had Cocoa neutered on the TNR (trap neuter release) program for feral cats. While the mother was a former pet who had been tossed out to raise her kittens alone, the nearly grown kitten was feral, having been raised entirely in the wild. At the time, I couldn't catch him but had to cage trap him to get him to the vet. Over the past few months he has become amazingly tame and very sweet and cuddly.
The photo below is of the mother who I call Kitty as I have still not found a suitable name for her.
