I think I saw this tree growing in the forest near my home. It sure looks like it. I took pictures with my digital camera so will have to have our computer geek down load the photos for me. It it is the right tree, I can see if I can find a baby for you.

Julie..this is our state flower....I have seen them growing in the woods around Meridian..they are very slow growers..I think I would try a local trade or nursery for a larger one.

This magnolia is different from our state flower. It has huge leaves. Look at this pic:

froggies, I've seen that tree in the Daniel Boone National Forest. Plus saw it off a side road on private property. I will try to find a small one for you.
