Dipel (BT)

Southern Mountains, GA(Zone 6b)

Does anyone know the shelf life of an opened bag of Dipel. There is no information on the bag pertaining to viability. I have one 2 or 3 years old, left in an outside shed. I've dusted all my coles but am wondering if I should spring for a fresh bag. I don't really want to wait until they are riddled with worms to find out if it's still good. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

According to a manufacturer's website, the Dipel powder has a shelf life of 3-4 years (if stored in a cool, dry, location). Personally, I would buy new, just in case.

Thank you. Good idea.

I would buy new as well -- I had some from a couple of years back that I used last year and I'm pretty sure all the BTs in there had croaked! In other words, my poor cabbage paid the price for my stinginess...

Agreed, I bought a fresh bag yesterday. Thanks for your input.
