I'd posted this in the tropicals forum, and it was suggested I post it here as well. Can someone take a look and let me know what you think please? I got the EE from the farmers market, and I think it was mid-identified as "black diamond". I think it's actually a maui magic or hilo bay, based on what I've looked through so far. I can't find anything for a "black diamond" EE; only a "diamondhead", and the leaves on this EE aren't that black.

I just posted some more clear pictures of the plant in the other thread, if it's of help in ID'ing it.
Your plant is definitely of the genus Colocasia, and is likely to be C. esculenta "Fontanesii". It is most definitely NOT Xanthosoma violaceum, as I have a large specimen of that plant and yours is not like it at all.
