Greenwing Macaw - Broken beak - Need help.

Marietta, MS(Zone 7b)

Last night my bird (Sunny) broke the tip of her beak off & bled for 8 hours. So, I was up most of the night panicking & trying to get the blood to stop & trying not to let her see that I was panicking because that makes their blood pressure go up which makes them beed more. Now this morning I see a few more drops of blood in there. My current vet does not work on birds & I don't want to stress her out & take her to another vet & take a chance on the bleeding starting again. She has been with me for almost 20 years now.

I really need to know how to repair her beak myself & am having no luck with my internet searches. It is just the tip of her beak that is broken off & the hole is about the size of the lead in an unsharpened pencil. I finally got it packed with cornstarch & got the bleeding to stop. Anyone have any ideas on what I can use to repair her beak that is not toxic to birds?

Any help is greatly appreciated!
