We just finished painting the stoop by our sun porch--we decided to go with blue from the previous red. On either side of the steps we want to put in a smallish perennial just to fill in the space and soften the edges. I'm pretty sure I want to go with Astilbe. Do I go with a white (such as Deutschland) or a red (such as Fanal). I'm thinking the red might pop nicely against the blue of the steps. What do you all think?
