Anyone Buy of Netherland Bulb Company

I would like to know if anyone ever brought bulbs from Netherland Bulb Company and what you think about the company?

Are they worthy of buying from?

I rec'd their catalog a few days ago..Don't recall ordering it though, but could have. You know a lot of companies sell customer list, there is big money in it. And sometimes one major company may own several different companies. Jackson & Perkins is no longer in Medford, Oregon. They are now in SC and owned by Wayside Gardens, I believe. When they were in Oregon, I dealt with them and was always pleased in their roses and their service. Wonder if anything has changed since they moved to SC.? They still go by Jackson and Perkins because I got a rose catalog a few weeks ago from them.

I know what you are talking about and am not surprised at this. This is way I ask questions here to see if anyone has ordered from these companies.

They go from very good to very bad once they are sold.

It really helps if people tell others about what they receive and what they think of companies.

Just because they still have the same name does not mean they are the same company although they would like you to think they are.

This is way I ask before I order from companies. I have found that the mom and pop small nurseries are sometimes better to do business with. You get a fair price and shipping than the bigger one. I have also found that the bigger ones want 2 to 3 times more for shipping cost, knowing that they are ripping you off.

I like to be trended fairly, these days money is hard to come by and we do not need to be ripped off so they can make a killing and be told who cares.
