Please enlighten me as to what is Clematis florida sieboldiana and Clematis vienniatta ? Are they sports of sieboldii ? Are they Kids of sieboldii? Are they separate cultavars? I very much would like to acquire the two as well as Alba Plena, however, I have only been successful (almost) with locating sources for sieboldiana , they being GARDEN CROSSING NURSERY and BRUSHWOOD NURSERY. In each case the pictures provided with the ad do not present the the distinctly different centers found on sieboldianna or vienniatta . Iam already growing sieboldii an it ranks as the top flower in my garden. It is container grown in full shade under two dense 12 to 15 feet tall shrubs.I have never pruned it and for the last six years it has been SPECTACULAR. Displaying over 150 blooms beginning about 5 feet above the ground and continuing to the to of the shrubs .It has spoiled me and I want very much to acquire SIEBOLDIANNA; VIENNIATTA;and ALBA PLENA. Can you give me any help?
Thank you so very much, Oren Segrest 1125 Lee Lane : Raymond, MS 39154

As shown in my post above, Clematis florida var. sieboldiana is also called Sieboldii, Bicolor, Choir Boy™. Many times you get a bit different looks depending on the weather and photos can be different depending on what stage of the bloom the shot was taken.
I always look to Clematis on the Web site for info, Viennetta is a totally different cultivar.
