my Embden gosling has been limping for a couple of days. Today I took her out of the cage to check her legs. Wow I can feel the heat in it. Is her leg broken???? I brought her inside to the Fl. room and put her in a big box so she doesn't move around on it to much. What can I do for her??
Is it broken
Oh dear, poor thing. Can you take her to a vet? I think it's just going to get worse if it's not treated , but I don't know, I hope not.
It could be several things...including an infection. I do think she should go to a vet...but if one won't see her, at least they might suggest and antibiotic you would treat her with.
I can get antibiotics and will see if my friend can stop by and check it. She is a Nurse Practioner(Dr.) DH won't let me take it to the vet
oops forgot to say Thank you for your input
I think waterfowl do have leg problems...I remember something about this here a while ago...also just googled related terms:
