CLOSED: Wanted: Hosta for postage.

Lubbock, TX(Zone 7a)

I would like to find someone willing to send hosta for postage. Please excuse my terminology, I am not too educated on hosta terms. Something already emerged....maybe it's called a division or a rooted start...that would suit me well and it could be small enough for a small to medium flat rate Priority box (although I have no real preference for what works for you). I prefer a two-tone leaf, is that called variegated? Whether it has white or gold or is green or lime green is not too important to me. If anyone is willing do help me out please let me know what you are willing to send and if you'd like Paypal, bank check or money order. I am willing to send postage first if you have any somewhat current positive feedback on DG. Thank you.

I would be willing to send you some if you could wait till this weekend. I have some variegated and and some not. JLMK. I would not require postage in return :)

Hello Steph,

I would love some variegated hosta.....anytime within the next few weeks would be wonderful, but you'll have to at least take postage, or maybe I could send you a nice kitty?

Do you still have my address or should I d-mail it to you?

Thanks so much for your offer....recognized your name right away.

Good Morning!! My patriot are not ready to divide just yet, maybe this fall. I am instead sending you two others that I have. One of them is 'Frances Williams' and I can't remember the name of the other one. 'Frances Williams is medium green with cream/white edges. The other one is medium green with dark green edges. I am sending you 2 eyes of FW and one eye of the other. One of them has lavender flowers and the other one has white flowers. If you need more just let me know. I can send more in the fall.

TTYS,
Steph

Here is a pic of both kinds I'm sending. These are in my front yard around a young tree.

Steph,

I came home to the Hosta you sent. They are already potted up and your postage will go out in Monday's mail. Thanks so much, it's just perfect to complete my little corner.
This is our second trade and I'm so glad to have met you!

You are very welcome. As I said before postage is on me. OK. I am very glad to have met you also :) I'm glad they reached you well. I sent an extra on that I didn't label. I think it's Sum & Substance. I planted them last fall and they're just starting to come up. It's the small all green one by itself. It will get much larger than the others. Hope you enjoy them. Talk to ya later :)

Steph
