I really like your short lilacs. Do they require colder temps to bloom properly? Now that my new raised bed is almost ready for planting, and I will be getting rid of more lawn around the bed, I am keeping an eye out for shorter shrubs to plant, interspersed with sprawling type groundcovers. Things that I never planted before......I would love to be able to have a short lilac like yours - do you know the variety?

I don't remember. I bought them at a local nursery while in bloom because they smelled wonderful. They are the korean lilacs while the tall old one is the french lilacs.

I have a small lilac that blooms pink and is a dwarf, I believe, called Tinkerbell. I love it !
