My two boys (ages 9 & 5) will probably be attending with me.
How long/late does the roundup usually last so I have a better idea of what type of food to bring?

From looking at this food list, we may just need to each bring a brown bag lunch. Otherwise it looks like hunger will overtake a quite a few people.
I will bring something, but at this point I have such a busy week, it may just have to be chips, and a jug of sweet tea and a jug of unsweet tea. I have multiple activities this week and don't have time to prepare food.
Seriously, if we don't get an offering of more food, we should consider each to his own.
At the October RU in Jacksonville, we ran rather short on food except for a few of us who brought a whole lot of extra.

Well there is a very nice Wattaburger right up the road. Tina_A says she will bring 2 sandwich rings on the other attendance/food thread. It may not be so bad after all. Nadine, (Moodene) will be staying with us for a few days and I am sure the girls can come up with something.
I've been waiting to see if there was going to be more 'cooked' or 'sandwich' type foods before posting...I had thought to bring deviled eggs, but I won't have time to make them- too many Dr. appointments, activities going on at the kids' schools, etc (I've had to rearrange my job schedule to attend some of the events, LOL).
I just now found the other 'food' thread....
Okay so if others are bringing sandwich rings, condiments, teas, chips......I can bring a couple loaves of bread (white & wheat)..... and maybe more chips/desert/sodas or a salad?, just let me know what else we may need.

Well, I had been holding back because I wasn't sure we could make it, but as of now it looks like we will, so I will bring a cake and pop, but not ice too far to drive.

I've never heard anyone round here say soda either Phyllis, in Texas we say Coke for all sodas!

I grew up (in Houston)... callin' it "soda water" ....when generally speakin'.........I was weaned on Dr Pepper (the REAL kind.....not what is offered today).....so I continued to have a special place on my "favorites" list for it....... until it went chemically artificial

This looks to be a small group this time, Yardqueen1948 backed out and terri_emory has not chimed in in a long time. I was looking through everyones list one more time to make sure I did not miss anyone's plants and noticed that mindybsgarden had me down to bring her several things and I didn't remember her asking for anything. So I looked through the trade thread two times and never seen where she asked anyone for anything she has listed. Has anyone heard from her and has she been making trades through D-mails? If she is coning I do not want to leave her plants but do not want to dig them up if she is not.
I don't know I have not heard either
I will toss my laptop in so we have it if needed in case anyone posts and we are all on our way
