Salvageable Tigridia bulbs?

Boise, ID

I started gardening last year and collected these Tigridia bulbs up at the end of the year while I was unearthing my dahlia tubers. They decided to sprout when I had them stored away but (aside from a few) most don't have the green shoots out yet. I'm guessing they are but should I do anything differently when I replant them? Any advice is appreciated! Sorry if this seems like an easy to answer question but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I would just plant them the normal depth for the tigardia bulbs. I planted mines years ago, but I leave in a zone where I can just leave them in the ground. Maybe about 2-3 inches deep? The parts of the shoots that ends up above ground will turn from whitish to green once you get them in some sunshine.

They look healthy so you wont have any problems :>)

Excellent, thanks for the replies. I guess I'll have to find some time to get these in the ground this weekend before they get way out of hand. Now it appears on a few of these bulbs that there are segments which are most likely new bulbs with shoots coming out. Should I separate these or just let them break apart naturally? They seem very close to coming apart already.

I would let them separate naturally :>)
