Not with the plant, but how to stake it up.
I have a very old split leaf Philodendron, have had almost 20 years. It's lost leaves and put more on, and here it's kind of losing more than it's putting on because my living room faces North and it's so big that this is the only room that will hold it.
Several new leaves are coming on. I have a green metal ring stuck in the (very large) pot, and the ring stands up about 10". It supports the leaves but looks like he-double-toothpicks.
Does anyone have an elegant solution for this problem?
Thanks,

Indoor Plant help, please
Hey Caroline!! You could make a totum large enough to tie it to to support it. There are things called soft ties you can use to tie it to the totum.
Well, I found a solution.
You get them at Home Depot, near the cactus plants.
They are little rings attached to rods, which you stick into the ground and feed the plant through the ring, and the plant rests inside the ring. The stem goes in there, and the little post thing gives it support.
Great! They are unobtrusive and simple. They come in varying sizes, too, so the taller spikes have support, too.
