Elephant Ears

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

This is my favorite double because it has a short petiole & stands straight up. And, lasts for several days even in the hot summer time.

I've heard that's an old standard hib. I bought one a few years ago, but had too unstable a lifestyle to keep it.

Sometimes the oldies but goodies are still the best.

Funny name.

I love elephant ears. I've wanted to get one to use in hybridizing, but my hubby would be VERY displeased with me acquiring yet another hibiscus...

Very pretty! And, I love your Clematis (?) in the background as well.

Thanks everyone. Yes, Amarantha, that is Clematis. They were pretty this year so I guess out harsh winter wasn't a bad thing. And, Barb, I have a suggestion for you & your husband. Just don't tell him! :-) Maybe you can sneak a little one in some where??? You know we all want "just one more."

Judy,
I agree. Considering how many I already have, one more wouldn't be obvious at all!
