Just before dark I found some weird insect on my Meyer lemon. They're about 3/8 to a half inch long by 1/4 wide. They're white and look like an oblong marshmallow with spikes. They're soft bodied but seem glued to the branch. This is on one of the old branches that survived the bad freeze with a few leaves intact. Most of my other leaves fell off and now they've grown perfect new ones and have some blooms. I figure this can't be good and I'd like to find out what it is and how to control it. Any ideas?

That certainly looks very close to what I have. The ones shown in the link seem to be having a bad hair day compared to mine which are neater in their appearance. I'll watch to see if they get worse and in the meantime look for a fix just in case they do. The assassin bugs don't normally show up here for at least another month. Thank you very much.
