We found a bunch of daffodils last month blooming at a site at the end of a road where people dump their yard refuse. They're done blooming, and we just went back to dig up the bulbs before they get lost below more branches and old mulch and stuff.
They still have their foliage. Should I re-plant them now, or wait until the fall? If I re-plant now, should I use any special additives in their soil? I don't want to confuse them into thinking it's time to bloom again. I don't know that much about bulbs; I planted them in CT before we moved to SC (zone 8) but things are so different down here.

I would plant them now. They are really tough plants :)
ants
They are finished for the season, and won't get confused. Ants is right - they are survivors. Get them in the ground, but make sure you preserve the foliage. That way they'll bloom nicely next year. If you have some bulb fertilizer, they'll like that too, since they are storong up energy for next year's bloom.
And you certainly know that they bloom in your climate. Congrats.
