Some of you may remember little Cleo who came to live with us for awhile after being abused. She is now back with us. Her owner is having difficulties with his roommates and asked if we would take her. She was dirty, had diarrhea, wouldn't eat...and just as loving as ever. Her owner said she wasn't feeling well and gave us some antibiotics and something to help with the diarrhea.
Well, I gave her a bath, fed her and she wouldn't eat. She settled into her room downstairs with no problem. After one night with us, she passed a HUGE hairball. It must have been 5" long by 1" wide. Pretty nasty for such a little kitty. The diarrhea went away and she eats like she hasn't eaten in days. Poor thing.
I have no idea how I am going to let her go again. I get tears in my eyes when I think of her going away again. (sniff)
