Does anyone grow Waldsteinia ternata (barren strawberry)?
I have three plants that I purchased last spring. All three are doing well and appear to have put out runners, but I've got enough mulch down that they will have difficulty setting down roots. Dopes anyone know whether I can sever them, plant them and successfully propagate new plants? I DO have a fairly large area that I eventually want to cover with them.

Nope on the experience with the Barren Strawberry. I have found that if I leave the runner attached and put a small pot of soil under the plantlet on the runner and use a U clip to hold it against the soil it will send it's own roots into the pot , then it can be cut off and be replantable.
Anyone else with an idea?
