Need recipes for shipping to Military overseas

Last year my DGD and her DH, both in the USNavy, were on seperate Air Craft Carriers in the Persian Gulf. They both requested "homemade goodies" for Christmas. While he is now on land duty, she is scheduled to go back on sea duty this spring....if not BEFORE! During WW2 my Mom made many tins of the Rice Krispie candy for shipping to her 3 sons in the South Pacific. I'm sure there are many of us who will be in the position of sending loved ones gifts this year. Thanks for your help. Jo
