What a difference 130 miles makes! Is your Jamaica Yellow in the ground? How well did it survive the winter? I love the lemon yellow color! I bought 2 Jamaica Yellow plants last year from 2 fairly well known mail order nurseries. One was the real Jamaica Yellow. The other was not a suaveolens hybrid, but I loved the shade of yellow and to be honest I'm not too crazy about the suaveolens long neck. Neither bloomed last year due to grasshopper damage. I can't wait for my JY to bloom.

It's in a smallish container, ten gallon, I think. It survived the winter cause I carried it in and out everytime a frost threatened. JY has been an excellent bloomer for me and I love the bright yellow.
